CERVIX SOFTENER™ TINCTURE, 4 fl oz

The cervix is the neck or “door” of the uterus, located at its very bottom. It is a muscular mass that must thin (efface) and open (dilate) in order for the baby to come out. First stage of labor is devoted to this process. If the muscles of the cervix are rigid, the start of labor is often delayed, labor contractions are less effective, labor progress in slowed, cervical lips develop, and there is more opportunity for tearing.*

Ingredients: Organic or Wild-Harvested Herbs: blue cohosh root, lobelia aerial parts, lady slipper root, valarian root, cayenne fruit; Other Organic Ingredients: brown rice syrup, grain alcohol, apple cider vinegar. Other Ingredients:  purified water, vegetable glycerin.

Recommended Use: Start taking 4 weeks before due date. 1/2 to 1 teaspoon in a small amount of warm water or juice 2 or 3 times a day. Can be put into capsules with a dropper and then taken. Can be taken with or without food. There are 24 1 teaspoon servings or 48 1/2 teaspoon servings in a bottle. Do not take if experiencing excessive Braxton Hicks contractions, excessive high blood pressure or if you have delivered a previous baby in less than two hours.*

For labor prep it is recommended to take both Cervix Softener and Sunstone’s Labor Prep. If finished with the bottle it is recommended to start on another one. Cervix Softener™ is very expensive to make, but we hold its price as low as we can to make it more affordable. Lady slipper, an essential part of the formula and known to soften the internal cervical os muscle, is extremely difficult to get and very expensive.* Over the years, Dianne has tried many substitutes for lady slipper, but none has worked as effectively.*
