Lobelia, also known as “Indian tobacco” and “puke weed,” has been used for centuries by native Americans. Samuel Thomson. the father of American herbalism, popularized the use of this herb on the American frontier. It became the number one herb in Thomson’s Materia. A. I. Coffin, botany professor in the mid 1800s, standardly gave lobelia to laboring women.*
Lobelia is sometimes called the “thinking herb,” because, when combined with other herbs, it makes them work even more effectively. For this reason, we use it in many combinations. Specifically, cayenne is often used with lobelia, because the two herbs balance each other’s effects.*
Organic Ingredients: lobelia (Lobelia inflata), grain alcohol, apple cider vinegar. Other Ingredients: vegetable glycerin and purified water.
Suggested Use: 10-15 or more drops, as needed.*
