Bloodroot (Sanguinaria canadensis), has a rich Native American background. Its nickname, war paint, gives some indication of its importance to the early Indian culture. Native Americans have used bloodroot for centuries for a variety of skin conditions.*

Colloidal silver is used in conjunction with the salve.
